Project Title
A Study into the Origin and Functions of Reciprocity
Description
My Major research report focused on the notion of reciprocity. In classical anthropological texts, reciprocity holds near-mythic significance. Volumes have been written about the phenomena and theorists have argued that it forms the foundation of all social relationships. I used existing literature from anthropology, political science and evolutionary biology to determine the genesis of reciprocity among human beings.
